Mr. Ujjwal Uke Founder of USP®
A unique system to enhance the power of the mind.


Born in Nagpur, Ujjwal Narayan Uke spent his childhood in Nagarjunasagar (AP), Ranchi, Bastar, Faridabad, Panna & Delhi. Graduating in Economics with honours from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, he went on to do his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Gaining 6 years’ experience in fields like Sales, Marketing and Finance, he joined the IAS in 1985, where he was allotted the Maharashtra cadre.

His father NG Uke, had the distinction of being the first person in his district to have secured an all India scholarship to pursue higher education in London in 1945. A rationalist, he was against all dogmas and rituals. He had a great influence in developing an inquisitive and open mind in his son.

The need to kill

Evolution has ordained that each living being has a relationship with nature; and all other beings, in a delicate balance. As time passes, the DNA of those who survive get passed on, and the traits of the parent DNA get replicated. Each of us have a great common feature. We can trace our lineage to the earliest living organisms. The line is uninterrupted; and the evidence is that you, who are reading this, is alive. The others simply couldn’t make it.

Think

Organisations are different from individuals. The moment two individuals get together and organise themselves into one unit, say a family; each individual loses something which is given to the unit. In hunter gatherer societies, it was necessary and efficient to join hands to get food security.
As they started off, each organisation was created to serve human needs. An individual was willing to forgo some of his individuality to get better returns.
